No accounts, no user profiles, no trackers. Below is everything that passes through our hands.
The app sends us no profile of you
MXa has no account server. The 9-digit ID and 6-digit code are generated on your machine and stay in a local secret store. We don't know your name, how many machines you own, or when you connect.
What the meeting point sees
When the two machines cannot reach each other directly, packets pass through the meeting point we operate. It knows which IDs are online, who called whom and how many bytes went across. That much is needed to run the service and stop abuse. It holds no session key, decrypts nothing and stores no fragment of content. On one network the machines connect directly and nothing passes through us.
The website sets no cookies
macxa.app is a set of static pages: no cookies, no Google Analytics, no ad-network tracking, no fonts or libraries loaded from third-party servers. No form on it collects anything about you.
Server logs
The web server records ordinary request data: IP address, timestamp, path and browser type. These logs serve site operation and abuse prevention. They are not tied to an identity, not sold and not shared.
Email you send us
If you write to info@macxa.app, your address and message stay in our mailbox so we can reply and look things up later. They are never used for marketing.
Buying a licence
When the app goes on sale, payments will be handled by a payment provider. We will receive only the minimum needed to issue a licence and a receipt. The details will be added to this page before sales begin.
Changes to this policy
If the way we handle data changes, this page is updated with a new date. Questions go to info@macxa.app.
